 Can you Love the LoveMomma?

    I love being pregnant.  I loved it in real life, and I've had my ups and downs with it in second life.  Being a role player, my ultimate goal with any pregnancy is to get as close to the real thing as i possibly can.  I have tried attachable bumps, the popular period trackers and conceptions,   I've added wombs that allowed you to watch the baby grow and a dozen other things.  I have a file in my inventory filled with about any pregnancy device you could imagine.

So go about 10 months back and i discover Love Momma.  Love Momma is a new body that has been created from the mind of one Miss Carrie Tatsu.  Name sound familiar?  Well it should, it is this brilliant lady who has brought us the world of Zooby.    So unlike most pregnancy devices where you attach it to your body, Love Momma is a mesh body that is connected to a data base that tracks fertility, pregnancy and moods. You then purchase and egg which will allow you to become pregnant with the body, and at the end of  9days, 9weeks, or 9months, you will deliver a zooby newborn.  Now this is the part where i strongly suggest you watch the Love Momma videos which i will link below as they give MUCH more information on the product then i am going to.  I am going ot give you the basics, and my experience with it.

So it starated with me missing the black friday sale when the body was at 50% off.  Because real life kept me away I ended up paying 4400L  for the body which when compared to other bodies on the market, that can't get you pregnant, that don't come with a very interactive hud, The price is not bad.    The hud is very user friendly, and gives alot of oppurtunity for rp.  Now because it is a fairly new body, the down side is that there isn't alot of clothing, nail, skin options which can be frustrating, especially if you are choosing the longer pregnancies of 9 weeks or 9 months.  Now, Even though i have the body i'm still not able to get pregnant because i do not have an egg.  I spent another 3000L to purchase the egg, and because i do not have a partner i then had to go to the store in the pregnancy hud and purchase insemination for 50L, bringing the grand total to get pregnant 7450L.  Now I will not have to purchase the body again, but each pregnancy I will need to purchase the egg.

  Now as far as i have seen you can go through the pregnancy without making purchases through the pregnancy store which feed your mood meter.  The benifit to doing so though is that you will get little interactive questions about what you are wishing your baby will be like.  As far as i can find not doing tthe mood meter and not getting the questions to answer does not effect your pregnancy what so ever.

If you do wish to fill your mood meter each day i found that it took the following:

Rest: about 30 minutes on the pillow, one time purchase of 400L

Love: Getting hugged , kissed, or told you are loved through the hud.  Free and loved this feature.

Drink: 3 drinks to fill hud at 10L each

Food: 3 food items to fill hud at 10l each

I ADORE that you don't have to edit your shape with each stage, you can watch your body grow and change automatically as your baby does the same.  You also have the options to hide your baby or make him/her visable.  And a Huge Kudos has to be given for the graffics and effects with this body.  Everything comes with an animation..................including the insemination so make sure no ones around if you choose that option!  

Now................delivery!  omg i can't get over how realistic this was compared to other bodies.  You will actually dilate, your body will contract, and you will see your baby slowly begin to exit the birth canal.  it was AMAZING to rp the birth because even if i couldn't describe what was happening everyone could see it.  I only wish that it didn't happen so quickly and that there was an option to pause between each movement of the baby so that there was time for parties involved to roleplay.  Once birth has begun it moves fairly quickly. 

Out of all the pregnancies i've ever done in sl i can honestly say that this one was by far the most realistic and i can't wait to see what happens with in in another year when some designers have made more  fashion options available for it.  Sadly i am not longer wearing my love Momma because i decided to put on a body that has more clothing options available for it.  When options become as available as other bodies i will actually make a perminate switch over to Love Momma.

I wish it wasn't so pricey to do the pregancy, or that you had the option to do the pregnancy without the newborn, as some people like me, were giving birth to another roleplayer, but you do get your moneys worth.  Over all it was a great role play experience, I'm happy I made the purchase and i hope I get to use it again some day.
